About the Society
The Pre-Pharmacy Society of the University of New Mexico is a student organization created for those who plan on pursuing careers in pharmacy. The mission of the society is to provide information, resources and opportunities that introduce students to the world of pharmacy. In addition, the society seeks to help its members become the most qualified applicants to the Pharm.D. program.
The organization also strives to encourage community involvement and present members with opportunities to serve the community through volunteer services. By building up the knowledge of members' understanding of pharmacy, the Pre-Pharmacy Society constantly strives to best prepare and informs its pre pharmacy students.
What's new?
Casa de Salud
Casa de Salud is actively seeking dedicated CNM or UNM students, or volunteers from the community, to apprentice as medical assistants at the clinic. No previous medical/clinical experience is necessary (although it is definitely helpful). These positions are not paid by the clinic, but if you are a work-study qualified student you may be able to receive funding through UNM or CNM.
Please refer to the photo on the right for additional information.
